This Christmas collection includes such series favorites as Tacky the penguin and Lyle the crocodile as well as classics like Jessie Willcox Smith's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. The content makes it well suited for holiday story times (though the large, square format standardizes the tales' layouts, to the detriment of some). Interspersed between the stories are carols from H. A. Rey's Curious George Christmas Carols.
