(3) YA As the only girl in her computer-coding elective class, high-school sophomore Cam faces harassment and sexism from her male classmates and teacher. But she shows them that “success is the best revenge” when she and her best friend prove their worth in a robotics competition. Cam’s rants about the lack of women in STEM fields can feel forced and TED-Talks-like, but her eventual triumph over the boorish guys who refused to include her is satisfying.
