How Many Years?

(4) K-3 Measuring Time series. Abstract time concepts (how long is a particular unit? how does it relate to other units?) are briefly introduced. The concrete examples in Seconds and Hours ("It takes about 1 second to sneeze"; "The movie lasts two hours") are more helpful than some of those found in Weeks and Years. Stock photos feature children, calendar pages, clocks, and stopwatches. Review covers these Measuring Time titles: How Many Hours?, How Many Seconds?, How Many Weeks?, and How Many Years?
