Every time it's about to snow, Alice feels it somewhere--in her toe, her nose, or her elbow. None of her neighbors believes her predictions, and Alice is the only one ready for the storms. Nevertheless, she readily invites her friends over to share her fire and food. The story is quaint, though long; and although the illustrations have some errors, such as the moon shining during a snowstorm, they are whimsical.
