The layouts are a jumble, featuring "Who's got the saw [or level, etc.]?" refrains, kid-friendly rhymes, instructive how-to texts, plus illustrations of children at work, tools (with labels), and outsize carpentry motifs, but the book's enthusiasm will be contagious.
