Lost in the War

(4) YA Eighth-grader Lisa and her younger sister struggle to cope with their mother's nightmares and depression, brought on by a delayed reaction to traumatic experiences as a nurse during the Vietnam War. Though the novel opens slowly and rarely presents anything beyond the expected, plot-wise, it will be a good source of information for those studying the conflict.
