Regardless, she frequently finds herself "visiting" the principal's office and explaining her way out of messes. These usually involve frenemy Vanessa, whom she calls "Miss Priss-A-Poo" (one of many Junie B.-like language affectations: "fab-u-lo-so," "zip-a-zoom," etc.). Though Katharine's adventures are bland, her stories are easy to read and the situations are relatable.
