(3) K-3 When good friends Alex (a boy) and Slug (a huge orange slug) hang out together exclusively, it's more than Alex can stand. "I'm sick of him!" he says. Slug overhears and is hurt. When Alex apologizes, the two become friends again. Although the anthropomorphized slug might be an odd character choice, he makes for amusing illustrations, and the story itself is realistic.
