Isabelle takes her time"), and what they like to do ("We dance to Stevie Wonder. Isabelle teaches me how to...twirl"). While the simple text and attractive block-print-looking art suggest it, only the afterword explains that Isabelle is a child with Down syndrome. Teachers may appreciate this slight but pleasant story.
