A pride of lions declares that Arnold, a lion in a family of flamingos, is "supposed to be part of OUR family." He tags along, but things don't feel right: "I think I'll go back to my family now." Porter's uncomplicated story alludes to questions about identity and belonging without putting undue weight on the topics; uncluttered illustrations feature cheery, brightly colored animals on lots of white space.
