See the Colors: Sign Language for Colors

(4) K-3 Looking Glass Library: Story Time with Signs and Rhymes series. Illustrated by Stephanie Bauer. Each book focuses on a theme and uses a singsongy rhyming verse that repeats a featured word several times per spread. Though the childlike, cheerful art offers only a rough demonstration of the featured signs, a more detailed description is included in the back matter. Caregivers committed to including ASL in their curriculum would best appreciate this series. Reading list. Review covers these Looking Glass Library: Story Time with Signs and Rhymes titles: The Best Day in Room A, The Big Blue Bowl, See the Colors, Silly Sue, and Watch Me Go!.
