(4) K-3 Sacré bleu! Someone's been stealing the cherries off Chef Armand's pastries. He catches the thief, who resembles a blue porcupine (with cherry-topped quills). Thanks to some magic (which seems like a cop-out, plotting-wise), the adversaries become friends--and business partners. The story is like a fancy dessert: the largely whipped-cream-white art is frothy and appealing, but the calories seem empty.
