The Little Penguin

(4) PS Illustrated by Stephanie Boey. The most noteworthy feature of this square picture book is the tactile effect created by embossed details on each page. Almost unnoticeable visually, the raised designs allow the reader's fingertips to detect extra details in the pictures. The text features a baby penguin, who, after wandering off from his parents, worries about the fact that his feathers are molting. Although the textured pages add interest, the story is dull.
