Translated by M. J. Infante.
Richard and Ricardo are playing catch in the park with their dogs. They lose their balls and then attempt to return said balls to the rightful owner. The contrivance of the identical names and mirrored text may help to teach language but dampens any sense of reality and makes the book feel overprogrammed. The illustrations and text are designed in two colors to differentiate the Spanish- and English-speaking boys.
