Illustrated by
Korky Paul.
Winnie the witch is having more and more accidents while flying--crashing into a helicopter, a hang glider, and a very tall building. She changes her broom into safer forms of transportation, but the accidents continue. When she mistakenly staggers into an eyeglass shop for a cup of tea, her problem is solved. Thomas's story gets off to an awkward start, but Paul's expressive illustrations are entertaining.
