Suffrage Centennial (Older)

Today marks the one-hundredth anniversary of the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment: "The right of the citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex..." In honor of this momentous occasion, we've compiled a list of excellent nonfiction for intermediate and older readers about the women's suffrage movement. Visit the Horn Book website for more content celebrating this historic day.
