After the CDC detains their flight from the Dominican Republic, strangers Flora and Oliver are quarantined together due to potentially contracting "tropical mono" (a feverish Flora impulsively kissed Oliver). During their thirty-day hospital stay, the #quaranteens contend with social-media fame and realize they're more than just roommates. Snappy alternating chapters and well-drawn protagonists keep the largely one-setting story from feeling monotonous.
