A Big Bed for Jed

(4) PS Illustrated by Lisa Jahn-Clough. Jed is so devoted to his crib that no one can persuade him to sleep in his new big bed. However, when the whole family slyly decides to pile into the bed, Jed rousts them out and climbs in himself. While the rhyming text occasionally sounds self-conscious, readers may recognize Jed's predicament. The illustrations, featuring childlike figures and bold patterns, add zest to the story.
