(3) K-3 When Primrose and her "outrageously smelly dog, Dirk" find a stray nose on a park bench, they go to great lengths to find its owner. Actually with Dirk around, it's very easy. Mr. Blewitt, unable to smell without his nose, is the only one who doesn't immediately run away. The humor is delightfully absurd, and the appealing illustrations heighten the nonsense.
