PSYCHOLOGY
(4) K-3 Feelings series. Illustrated by Jo Brooker. This series reassuringly presents emotions. Each book describes a feeling and what it can be like to experience it. The sentences are easy to read (though the definition of feelings as "something you feel inside" is not particulary helpful). Brooker uses strong lines and bold colors in her detailed mixed-media illustrations. There are six other spring 2007 books in this series. Glos., ind. Review covers these Feelings titles: Angry, Caring, Happy, Jealous, Proud, and Sad.
