More celebratory than scientific, this entry in the concept-book series superficially explains the seasons. As usual, Brocket's crisp, attractive photos do an excellent job of reflecting the descriptive language ("Spring feels fresh and cool and breezy"; "Fiery sunsets match the colors of the leaves"). Kids will eagerly answer the question at book's end: "Which season do you like best?"
