The Boy & the Book: [a wordless story]

(4) K-3 Illustrated by Bob Kolar. Anthropomorphic library books in the children's room reach a breaking point with a young boy who repeatedly mistreats his favorite book. The books repair their damaged friend and help the boy appreciate books and the reading experience. Despite some confusing elements, blocky digital illustrations mostly succeed in telling this wordless story of library respect and a struggling reader.
