A book first published in 1960 is reissued in its original format. Puff, a small steam engine, dreams of being useful but is overlooked by the larger engines until he rescues a circus train. The story line is predictable, and Puff has no real personality, but the book is remarkable for what was--at the time of first publication--incredibly original design.
