Purple curtains set the stage for a Nativity pageant for which the sole text is the titular hymn. The joke: for each "O come, let us adore Him," the angel-directors pull, prod, or otherwise entice a recalcitrant animal onto the scene. The pictures lack narrative cohesion but have enough texture and detail to reward rereadings, and the image at the end featuring Baby Jesus is heartwarming. Music is provided.
