"Wiggle!" A worm demonstrates for a little fly, who tries and fails ("Wiggle?"). Nor can it jump like a grasshopper, march like an ant, etc. The fly is beyond frustrated (and beyond adorable, with its candid, bug-eyed expressions) until it encounters some flying insects ("Fly? / Yes! Fly!"). The book's precious few words speak volumes--about tenacity, patience, and community.
