An effusively affectionate grandma plays with her little grandchild, expressing wonder at the baby’s cuteness (“Look. At. This. Baby!”). Yiddish words are integrated throughout her exclamations (“Let me kiss this keppie...I see a tuchus!!”). The boldly colored, cartoonish illustrations can be garish at times, but the simple, silly text lends itself to playing and giggling along -- and maybe even learning some Yiddish.
